There is something wonderfully magical about the ocean. The gentle rhythm of the waves, the sparkle of sunlight across the water and the endless possibilities waiting beyond the shoreline.

Perhaps, just perhaps, this is where mermaids really do exist.

At Kylie Morrissy Photography, my Beach Mermaid sessions bring childhood imagination to life amongst the breathtaking beauty of our natural coastline.

Imagine your little mermaid resting upon the sand, her beautiful tail shimmering in the afternoon light, delicate jewels sparkling as the waves gently roll towards the shore.

With gorgeous mermaid tails, beautiful crowns, sparkling accessories and carefully chosen styling, every little mermaid is transformed into a magical creature of the sea.

Unlike my Studio Mermaid sessions, where I create an enchanting underwater-inspired world, Beach Mermaid sessions embrace the beauty of the ocean itself.

The natural coastline becomes our magical setting. Soft golden light, textured sand, beautiful rock formations and the ever-changing colours of the sea provide a breathtaking backdrop that makes every session wonderfully unique.

But the magic doesn't end when the sun begins to set.

Just like my Fine Art Fairy portraits, every chosen mermaid photograph becomes an opportunity for my creativity to shine.

Through individual hand-editing and artistic enhancements, I bring a little extra underwater enchantment to each finished portrait.

Perhaps a curious seahorse has ventured close to shore, tiny sea creatures have gathered around a hidden treasure, or delicate sparkles and shimmering light bring an unexpected touch of magic to the scene.

Every detail is thoughtfully chosen to complement the natural surroundings and the story I imagine unfolding.
